Hey, Angelo here.
Quick question: when someone asks for your opinion in a meeting, what happens? You know what you want to say, but the words just don't come out. Or you start speaking and halfway through, you lose your confidence. Your voice gets quieter. You rush to finish.
Sound familiar?
After working with hundreds of English learners, I’ve noticed something:
Most of you are actually good at English.
You understand. You know grammar. You can read and write.
But speaking in real time? That's different. That's a skill. And skills don't improve by studying. They improve by doing — especially under pressure, in front of real people.
One thing that kills your confidence is pronunciation. Not perfect pronunciation — natural pronunciation. When you speak naturally, people listen. When you hesitate or mispronounce, you doubt yourself.
Here's the truth: native speakers don't speak perfectly either. But they speak with rhythm, flow, and confidence. That's what we work on.
Let me give you a framework you can use this week in your next meeting.
When someone asks you a question, don't panic. Use this: pause for one second, then say "That's a great question. Here's what I think..." Then give your answer. That one-second pause buys you time. It sounds natural. It keeps you confident.
Try it. Notice the difference.
If you want to practice this with real people in real conversations, that's exactly what we do in Learn&Speak Club — live every week.
No pressure. Just real speaking practice with people who get it.
See you next week.
